DUSHANBE, 18.08.2025 (NIAT Khovar) – On August 18, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, sent a telegram of condolences to the President and Prime Minister of this country, His Excellency Asif Ali Zardari and His Excellency Shehbaz Sharif, in connection with the death and injury of a large number of citizens of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan due to heavy rainfall and catastrophic floods. It reads, in particular:
“In connection with this great tragedy, I express my deepest condolences and sympathy to You, Your Excellency, the friendly people of Pakistan, and the relatives and families of the deceased. I wish a speedy recovery to all those injured.”
