A delegation from the Communications Service under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan met with Valeriu Jgonea, president of the National Authority for Communications Regulation and Management of Romania, to discuss strengthening bilateral cooperation in communications and information technology.
According to the Communications Service, the meeting took place in Bucharest.
The discussions focused on cooperation in regulating the telecommunications market, managing the radio frequency spectrum, developing postal infrastructure and implementing digital technologies.
Both sides also discussed expanding mutually beneficial cooperation and exchanging experience in communications regulation and management.
The parties expressed readiness to further develop cooperation and to prepare and sign a memorandum of understanding on cooperation in the communications sector, noting that the document could become an important step in strengthening bilateral partnership.
