Tajikistan Ready for Joint Development and Processing of Critical Minerals

Tajikistan presented its strategic potential in green energy, rare earth metals and artificial intelligence during a regional dialogue on critical minerals held in Kazakhstan.
Speaking at the C5+1 Dialogue on Critical Minerals in Astana, Tajik Minister of Industry and New Technologies Sherali Kabir outlined the country’s investment and industrial potential, according to the ministry’s press center.
Kabir emphasized the importance of critical minerals for the global economy and technological development.
“Critical minerals are becoming key resources for the global economy and technological development,” Kabir said. “Tajikistan is ready to collaborate with leading international companies to organize the processing of rare earth metals.”
He added that Tajikistan is interested not only in extracting raw materials but also in developing joint ventures, introducing new technologies, training specialists and expanding scientific cooperation.
