President Emomali Rahmon Inaugurate New 800-Student Imkon School in Dushanbe

On September 2, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, and the Chairman of the Majlisi milli Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan, Mayor of Dushanbe, Honorable Rustami Emomali, commissioned a new building of the Imkon private secondary educational institution for 800 students on Ahrori Street in Dushanbe.
The new facility was built by the businessmen — brothers Valijon, Piran and Payrav Akhmedovs with the aim of creating decent conditions for education.
During the introduction, the Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, was informed that due attention was paid to the quality of work and the use of domestic materials that meet modern standards in the design and construction of the building.
The construction of this modern educational institution was carried out in compliance with the requirements of modern urban planning standards. During the construction of the facility, 80 local residents were provided with temporary work.
The institution has 59 classrooms and a number of auxiliary rooms. The classrooms of the institution have the necessary material and technical basis for studying various subjects, including information technology, crafts, biology, physics, fine arts, and foreign languages. Each subject room is equipped taking into account the educational characteristics and requirements of the curriculum.
The educational institution currently employs 34 teachers, 90 percent of whom are women, and the educational process is conducted mainly in Tajik, Russian, and English. In the future, Chinese language teaching will also be introduced here. This approach allows students to improve their communication skills in foreign languages, along with acquiring modern knowledge.
The institution also has a canteen with 290 seats, a gym, two swimming pools for boys and girls, an assembly hall with 180 seats, a winter garden, and a shooting range for conducting basic military training exercises.
The sports hall is equipped with the necessary equipment for various sports activities, allowing students to engage in physical education in appropriate conditions and improve their sports skills.
Swimming pools were built taking into account modern requirements, are designed separately for boys and girls, and provide a suitable environment for learning to swim, physical fitness, and improving the health of students.
The spacious assembly hall with 180 seats is designed for holding cultural and educational events, educational clubs, and various gatherings, and the shooting range is also equipped with the necessary equipment to provide a good opportunity for conducting military exercises.
The Head of State, Emomali Rahmon, emphasized that creating modern conditions for education and upbringing and improving the quality of education are among the most important directions of the state’s social policy.
Teachers were instructed to effectively use the opportunities provided, improve the level and quality of education, and raise an educated and patriotic generation.
