Kazakhstan expects a large supply of vegetables and fruits from Tajikistan
Dushanbe, 19.02.2016. (NIAT “Khovar”). — Meeting of the Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Tajikistan Ne’matullo Hikmatullozoda and Ambassador of Kazakhstan in Tajikistan Agybay Smagulov was held in Dushanbe.
During the meeting the issues of development of trade and economic relations between Tajikistan and Kazakhstan were discussed.
Kazakh Ambassador told about the storages of agricultural products which are being constructed in the regions of Kazakhstan, which will promote to increase the export potential of Tajikistan and hoped that the Tajik side will provide a large supply of fruit and vegetables for storage and their subsequent implementation, both inside and outside Kazakhstan.
The parties noted that the export of agricultural products of Tajikistan has the tendency of growth in foreign trade turnover with Kazakhstan.
It should be noted that Kazakhstan takes the third place in foreign trade turnover with Tajikistan.
In turn, Kazakhstan is a major supplier of flour, grain, liquefied gas, vegetable oil and other vital goods.
