Dushanbe, 05.04.2016. /NIAT “Khovar”/. Between the Republic of Tajikistan and the Federal Republic of Germany are signed over 40 intergovernmental cooperation agreements that put an effective role in strengthening cooperation between the two countries. This point was expressed by the Speaker of Parliament Shukurjon Zuhurov at the meeting with a delegation of the German Bundestag in Dushanbe.

According to press service of Parliament, Zuhurov has also noted that between Majlisi namoyandagon and German Bundestag is functioning group of friendship and cooperation. Activities of groups of friendship and parliamentary provide a solid foundation for the development of relations between the two countries in various spheres.

“Parliament Speaker has informed the German delegation on resources and economic opportunities of Tajikistan and has evaluated the strengthening of cooperation between the two countries in various sectors as one of the priority areas”, — source reported.

The press service statement also adds that “the two sides have also exchanged views on regional situation, particularly on the situation in Afghanistan and the fight against all kinds of challenges and threats of the modern world”.
