Tajik judokas will participate in Asian Championship
Dushanbe, 15.04.2016. /NIAT “Khovar”/. The Asian Judo Championship will be held on April 15 — 17 in Tashkent. Tajikistan will be represented by Umed Abdurahimov (up to 66 kg), Shuhratjon Farkhizoda, Karomatullo Hakimov (up to 73 kg), Farhod Rahimov, Saidjamol Alimardonov (up to 81 kg), Komronshohi Ustopiriyon (up to 90 kg), Saidjalol Saidov (up to 100 kg) and Muhammadmurod Abdurahmonov (over 100 kg).
According to Judo Federation of the country, the duels of championship will also be served by an international referee from Tajikistan Ramzi Shamirov.
The Asian Championships in this kind of sport are held since 1966. Over the years of their participation Tajik judokas have won 13 medals — 5 silver and 8 bronze medals.
The championship will be attended by athletes from 31 countries of the Asian continent.
