Real Madrid set 40 matches Spanish unbeaten record with thrilling comeback against Sevilla

The last game that Real Madrid lost was back in April 2016 (against Wolfsburg). Since then, Real Madrid have been immaculate, notching 30 wins and 9 draws. This impressive run has seen the club lift their last three titles: the Champions League, UEFA Super Cup and Club World Cup.
At 40 games, they are currently tied with the number recorded by Nottingham Forest in 1978. The next milestone for the madridistas is the 42-game unbeaten run managed by Milan in the 1991-92 season.
