Tajikistan and World Bank discussed the new priority projects
DUSHANBE, 23.02.2017 /NIAT “Khovar”/. New potential priority projects aimed at the development of infrastructure of the Republic of Tajikistan were discussed at the meeting of the First Deputy Minister of Finance of the Republic of Tajikistan Jamshed Karimzoda and representatives of the World Bank led by senior economist for transport issues Cordula Rastogi.
According to the Secretariat of the Ministry of Finance of Tajikistan, during the meeting special attention was paid to the development of transport sector, including the project of the road Guliston — Kulob and reconstruction of the railway station.
Summarizing the meeting, Jamshed Karimzoda expressed confidence in the long-term and fruitful cooperation with the World Bank.
By the World Bank the meeting was also attended by transport specialist Ayday Bayalieva, senior railway specialist Antoine Kunt and specialist on operations Faridun Sanginov.
