“Istiqlol” starts the AFC Cup — 2017 with victory over “Dordoy”
DUSHANBE, 15.03.2017 /NIAT “Khovar”/. Champion of Tajikistan — Dushanbe’s FC “Istiqlol” at the starting match of the AFC Cup – 2017 group stage defeated the vice-champion of Kyrgyzstan — Bishkek’s FC “Dordoy” with the score 2:0. The goals were scored by David Mawutor and Jahongir Aliyev. This match that took place at the Dushanbe Central stadium was visited by 16500 spectators.
In another match of group “D” the Turkmen “Altyn Asyr” on the road has defeated the Kyrgyz “Alay” – 2:1.
“Istiqlol” will play its next match in the AFC Cup on April 4 in the away match against “Altyn Asyr”.
