CONGRATULATIONS! Junior football team of Tajikistan advanced to the final part of the Asian Championship-2018
DUSHANBE, 25.07.2017. /NIAT “Khovar”/. The junior football team of Tajikistan having beaten the team of Oman (1:0), ranked first place in group “B” in the Asian Championship-2018 qualifying tournament and won a berth to the final part of this championship to be held next year in Malaysia.
According to the press service of the Football Federation of Tajikistan, in the match of the third round of group “B” played junior teams of Tajikistan and Oman, which ended with the victory of Tajik footballers — 1:0. Previously, Tajik players defeated Syria (2:0) and the Maldives (14:0). Tajik juniors having scored 9 points out of 9 possible, took first place in their group and won a berth to the final part of the Asian Championship to be held from September 20 to October 7 next year in Malaysia.
The junior team of Tajikistan for the third time advanced to the final part of the Asian Championship. Earlier, Tajik juniors participated in the continental championships in 2006 and 2010. At the tournament, which took place in 2006 in Singapore, Tajik juniors won bronze medals.
