TFF and AFC Presidents opens Mini Football Pitches in Dushanbe
DUSHANBE, 06.04.2018. /NIAT “Khovar”/. A four Mini Football Pitches at Avtomobilist stadium has been officially opened by President of Tajikistan’s Football Federation Ristam Emomali and Sheikh Salman bin Ebrahim Al Khalifa, President of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC).
In the inaugurating ceremony, TFF and AFC expressed satisfaction on the positive progress achieved in the past year and agreed that the momentum should be maintained.
AFC president will hold talks with senior representatives of the Tajikistan Football Federation to discuss issues related to development of football in the region.
Shaikh Salman bin Ebrahim Al Khalifa is the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) President and a FIFA Vice-President. He had previously been Vice-President of the Bahrain Football Association (BFA) from 1998 until becoming President in 2002. Shaikh Salman was also a member of the Organising Committee for the 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil™ and currently sits on FIFA’s Finance and Strategic Committees.
