Khujand FC Will Play Against Turkmen Ahal in the AFC Cup 2019 Playoffs
DUSHANBE, 28.02.2019. (NIAT Khovar) – The rival of the vice-champion of Tajikistan Khujand FC in the playoffs AFC Cup 2019 has been determined. In this round, Khujand FC will be playing against the silver medalist of the championship of Turkmenistan Ahal FC, reported the Football Federation of Tajikistan.
Ahal has defeated Kyrgyz Alay FC twice (2:1 and 1:0) in the preliminary round of the AFC Cup 2019.
The playoffs will be held on March 6 and 13. The first match will be held in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan and the return game will take place in Khujand, Tajikistan.
The winner will receive tickets to the group stage of the AFC Cup 2019 in the central zone, where it will play against Istiqlol FC (Tajikistan), Altyn Asyr FC (Turkmenistan) and Dordoy FC Kyrgyzstan) in the Group D.
