Rustam Emomali Elected New President of the Central Asian Football Association
DUSHANBE, 24.04.2019. (NIAT Khovar) – Chairman of Dushanbe and the President of the Football Federation of Tajikistan Rustam Emomali was elected the new President of the Central Asian Football Association (CAFA) at the CAFA Congress, which took place today in Dushanbe.
CAFA’s headquarters will now be moving to the capital of Tajikistan, reported the Press Centre of the Football Federation of Tajikistan.
Founded in 2014, CAFA is an association of Central Asian football playing countries. It unites football federations of Afghanistan, Iran, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan. Until mid-2015, the organization was called the Central Asian Football Federation.
