DUSHANBE, 13.08.2019 (NIAT Khovar) – The youth team of Tajikistan (U-19) won a second consecutive victory in the championship of the Central Asian Football Association (CAFA) which is taking place in Dushanbe.

This time Tajik youth prevailed over their peers from Afghanistan with a score of 3:1. Islom Zoirov, Shahrom Samiev and Abdulmumin Zabirov scored goals for the Tajik team, reported the Football Federation of Tajikistan.

In another match of the third round, the Iranian team won a major victory over the team from Turkmenistan with the score of 4:0.

In their first match the Tajik team defeated the team from Turkmenistan with a score of 5:1.

After three rounds, the youth teams of Tajikistan and Iran with 6 points each lead the standings.

The matches of the penultimate, fourth round of the 2019 CAFA U-19 Championship will be played today between Iran — Afghanistan and Uzbekistan — Tajikistan.

The Championship of the Central Asian Football Association (CAFA) is held in a single lap.
