United Arab Emirates Interested in Developing Multifaceted Cooperation with Tajikistan
DUSHANBE, 16.09.2019. (NIAT Khovar) – The Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) of Tajikistan Jamshed Jumakhonzoda met with the second Deputy Chairman of the CCI of Sharjah Valid Abdulrahman Bakhatir and CEO Mohamed Ahmed Amin Alavadi in the Emirate of Sharjah.
The meeting focused on establishing multifaceted trade and economic relations between Tajikistan and the Emirate of Sharjah.
“The visit of the Chairman of Tajik CCI to the UAE indicates that the relations between the chambers of the two countries will rise to a qualitatively new level in the near future,” noted Bakhatir.
“Our main task is to support Tajikistan’s business community and Sharjah in entering new markets for the development of mutually beneficial cooperation,” said Bakhatir, emphasizing the willingness to provide the necessary support for the participation of the Tajik business community in the exhibition and congress forums held by the Sharjah’s CCI.
“The current trend in relations between Tajikistan and the UAE gives reason to believe that in the future, business dialogue will only grow stronger,” said Jumakhonzoda.
“In the future, priority issues are the export of organic agricultural products to the UAE market and the expansion of investment cooperation. Sharjah hosts international exhibitions and forums. By participating in such events, Tajik business circles can create new business relationships and penetrate Middle Eastern markets,” noted Jumakhonzoda
The parties also paid special attention to strengthening and developing cooperation in various sectors of the Tajik economy, including the opportunity for representatives of the Arab private sector to participate in financing and hydropower projects, in the field of transport, construction of industrial and civil facilities, in agricultural processing projects, and in preparation of personnel, pharmaceutical industry, healthcare and tourism.
Bakhatir expressed confidence that the fruitful cooperation between the two countries will deepen.
According to him, the UAE is deeply interested in developing multifaceted cooperation with Tajikistan.
The need to make full use of the potential of interaction between the private sector of the two countries was also emphasized in the meeting.
