Tajikistan’s U-17 Football Team Defeated Cameroon During FIFA World Cup 2019
DUSHANBE, 29.10.2019 (NIAT Khovar) – The U-17 national football team of Tajikistan beat Cameroon with the score of 2-1 in the first match of the group tournament of FIFA World Cup 2019.
Sharifbek Rahmatov scored the goal by penalty for the Tajik team.
Another match from this group between Spain and Argentina ended in a draw with a score of 0-0.
On November 1, Tajik juniors will play against their Spanish peers. Argentina will play against Cameroon.
Following the first round, the Tajik U-17 team with 3 points are leading the standings in Group E.
The FIFA World Cup 2019 is taking place in Brazil from October 26 through November 17.
