Tajikistan Presents Dried Fruits and Lemons at Gulfood 2020
DUSHANBE, 19.02.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – Tajik companies Mevai Tilloi, Oro Isfara, Bokhtar Food Combine and Ansor Farm presented their environmentally friendly products at the 25th International Exhibition of Food, Drinks and Equipment for the Hotel, Restaurant Business and Culinary Persian Gulf countries Gulfood 2020. The exhibition began on February 16 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates and will run until February 20.
The participation of Tajik companies and entrepreneurs at Gulfood 2020 was organized with the assistance of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Tajikistan in collaboration with USAID Project on Competitiveness, Trade and Job Creation in Central Asia.
The purpose of the participation of Tajik entrepreneurs in Gulfood 2020 is to familiarize them with the needs of the market in the Gulf region and the Middle East, and expand the possibilities for exporting domestic products abroad.
Tajik companies Mevai Tilloi and Oro Isfara specialize in exporting dried fruits.
Bokhtar Food Combine is engaged in the consolidation and formation of the volume of goods from the Khatlon province for export. Last year, it successfully exported Tajik watermelons to Lithuania for the first time.
Ansori is a leader in the cultivation of high-quality Tajik lemons.
Gulfood 2020 is the largest annual exhibition in the world. More than 5,000 companies from 120 countries take part in the expo with over 97,000 people from 185 countries of the world attending the event.
