DUSHANBE, 12.03.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – Istiklol FC beat Khujand in the starting match of Group D in the AFC Cup 2020, the Tajik Football Federation said.

The match was held yesterday at the Dushanbe Central Republican Stadium and ended with the score of 2-0 in favor of Istiklol. Manuchehr Jalilov scored two goals for his team.

Another match of this group between Kyrgyz Dordoy FC and Turkmen Altyn Asyr FC, which was scheduled to take place on March 11, was postponed to a later date.

The matches of the second round will be played on April 15. Istiklol FC will play against Altyn Asyr FC in Ashgabat and in its field Khujand FC will play against Kyrgyz Dordoy FC.
