Hakim Fuzaylov Appointed Khujand FC Coach
DUSHANBE, 13.07.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – Former Tajik team’s head coach Hakim Fuzailov will lead Khujand FC by the end of the season.
Nikol Lazarevich, who was appointed as Khujand’s head coach, will not be able to assist the club because of the closure of borders between the countries due to the global coronavirus pandemic. Lazarevich is currently in Serbia.
“We were forced to sit at the negotiating table because of the current global situation, and particularly in the club. As a result of fruitful negotiations with the current coaching staff and the club management, the parties came to the conclusion that the club needs a head coach,” said Khujand FC’s Executive Director Murodjon Umarov.
“We agreed with Hakim Kayumovich that he will prepare the club for the upcoming tournaments. The term of the agreement will be valided by the end of the year,” added Umarov.
