Sughd Province Harvests 94,000 Tonnes of Cotton

DUSHANBE, 21.10.2020 (NIAT Khovar) – More than 94,000 tonnes of cotton has been harvested in Sughd Province as of October 21.
Asht has produced 8,983 tonnes, Bobojon Ghafurov 12, 002 tonnes, Jabbor Rasulov 9,045 tonnes, Zafarobod 19,627 tonnes, Konibodom 10,929 tonnes, Mastchoh 23,291 tonnes, and Spitamen 10,384 tonnes. The harvesting campaign is underway. Sughd Province farmers have harvested more than 2,380 tonnes of cotton daily on average.
The plan for cotton production for this year is about 130,000 tonnes, and to date, the region has fulfilled it by 72.8%.
