Tajikistan and Korea Express Readiness to Establish Cooperation

DUSHANBE, 14.11.2020 (NIAT Khovar) – On November 12, Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade Abdurahmon Abdurahmonzoda met with the Chairman of the Korea Smart Human Technology Association (KOSHUMA) Shim Jae-Bok.
The meeting focused on the development of bilateral cooperation, deepening partnerships, implementing investment projects in the field of infrastructure, creating technology parks, logistics centers for processing, and exporting goods with the involvement of Korean investments in free economic zones of Tajikistan.
Abdurahmonzoda highlighted the opportunities in the Panj and Kulob FEZs and noted that the digital economy is rapidly developing in the country, which is a good opportunity for establishing mutually beneficial cooperation between Tajikistan and Korea.
Following the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to establish cooperation in mutually beneficial areas.
