DUSHANBE, 16.11.2020 (NIAT Khovar) – The U-19 football team of Tajikistan has begun its two-week training camp in Dushanbe, to prepare the team for the final part of the Asian Championship.

The team’s head coach Mubin Ergashev invited 28 players, including 4 goalkeepers, 10 defenders, 8 midfielders and 6 forwards.

The training camp will continue until November 30.

During the Asian U-19 Championship, which will be held from March 3 through March 20 next year in Uzbekistan, the Tajik team will play in Group D against Malaysia, Yemen and Qatar.

The top four Asian U-19 Championship teams will qualify for the 2021 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Indonesia.
