Tashkent Plans to Host Tajik-Uzbek Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Issues

DUSHANBE, 27.04.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – In May, Tashkent will host the 8th meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission of Tajikistan and Uzbekistan on trade and economic issues. This issue was discussed at a meeting of the Minister of Economic Development and Trade Zavki Zavkizoda and First Deputy Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade of Uzbekistan Laziz Kudratov in Khujand.
The parties summed up the results of the 7th meeting of the Tajik and Uzbek Intergovernmental Commission.
The parties also discussed ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation in trade, economy, investment, industry, energy, transport, and agriculture, and made specific proposals for the organization of joint industrial enterprises.
