Tajikistan Will Continue to Use the Seaport of Turkmenbashi for the Transportation of Goods

DUSHANBE, 03.05.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – Tajikistan expects to continue using the seaport Turkmenbashi for import and export of goods. This issue was discussed at an online meeting of representatives of transport of Tajikistan and Turkmenistan.
The meeting focused on issues of cooperation in the field of transport.
The parties also discussed issues of bilateral cooperation in the field of international road transport, railways, and transit.
They expressed their interest and readiness to resume cooperation in the field of international road and rail transport, as well as to take the necessary measures to carry out bilateral and transit transportations in compliance with epidemiological requirements.
