Tajik, Uzbek and Russian Entrepreneurs Sign Over Hundred Cooperation Agreements

DUSHANBE, 23.10.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – More than 100 cooperation agreements were signed as part of the forum entitled Trade and Investment Opportunities and Prospects for Regional Development and the International Trade Fair Sughd-2021, which took place from October 19 through October 20 in Khujand, reported the Deputy Chairman of the Sughd region Anvar Yakubi.
He noted that the International Trade Fair Sughd-2021 is being held for the seventh time with the aim of presenting the economic, industrial, agricultural, and tourism opportunities of the Sughd region, developing trade and economic ties, attracting investments into the regional economy, and strengthening relations. However, last year due to the coronavirus pandemic, the event was did not take place.
This year the fair was attended by many entrepreneurs, owners of enterprises and companies from Russia and Uzbekistan, who discussed the prospects for cooperation with their trading partners.
