DUSHANBE, 29.04.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – As part of FIFA Women’s Football Campaign development program for women’s football, the Women’s Football League of Tajikistan held eight football festivals in various cities and districts.

The final festivals took place in Buston and Shahriston.

Previously, football festivals were held in Dushanbe, Norak, and Vahdat, as well as in the districts of Dangara, Vakhsh, and Nosiri Khusrav.

More than 800 girls from 6 through 12 years old took part in eight festivals.

The goal of the campaign is to promote women’s football in Tajikistan, change the perception of women’s football in the country, and encourage girls to play football professionally.

Following the festivals, all children were given balls and T-shirts.
