Tajik Minister of Agriculture Attends Conference of UN Food and Agriculture Organization in Europe

DUSHANBE, 11.05.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – Minister of Agriculture Sadi Karimzoda is taking part in the 33rd Regional Conference of the UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) for Europe in the city of Lodz, Poland.
The conference will be held from May 10 through May 13 with the initiative of the UN FAO in collaboration with the Government of Poland.
Karimzoda will report on the «ways to reorganize the agro-industrial system in Europe and Central Asia.»
Official delegations from 53 countries are taking part in the conference. According to the program, the conference will focus on 10 issues on the reorganization of the food system in the world.
UN FAO Director General, Deputy Prime Minister — Minister of Agriculture of Poland, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Poland, Commissioner of the European Union for Agriculture, and the Mayor of the city of Lodz spoke at the official opening ceremony of the conference.
