Zavkizoda and Sinanoglu Discuss Preparations for the Tajikistan Development Forum

DUSHANBE, 13.05.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – Yesterday, Minister of Economic Development and Trade Zavki Zavkizoda and UN Resident Coordinator in Tajikistan Sezin Sinanoglu discussed preparations for the meeting of the National Development Council under the President of Tajikistan and Tajikistan Development Forum.
The parties also discussed issues of bilateral cooperation to facilitate the financing of the country’s strategic goals and measures to prevent the impact of potential threats on the national economy, approved by the decree of the government dated March 18, 2022, as well as issues of prevention and response to natural disasters caused by climate change.
Sinanoglu expressed the readiness of the UN and its agencies to assist in the implementation of the goals and priorities of the country’s development, and the holding of these events.
