Free Economic Zones of Tajikistan Produce Over 200,000,000 Somoni Worth of Products This Year

DUSHANBE, 01.09.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – This year, free economic zones (FEZs) of Tajikistan have produced 243,000,000 somoni (almost $24 million) worth of products, reports the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade.
From January through July of this year, they were produced in two FEZs, including Sughd and Dangara. All funds were received from the activities of the subjects of these FEZs.
There are 11 entities operating in Dangara FEZ. During this period, products worth more than 34.4 million somoni ($3.3 million) were produced.
Thirteen enterprises produced the most products for in these months in the amount of 208.5 million somoni ($20.5 million) in Sughd FEZ.
In other subjects of free economic zones, such as Ishkoshim, Panj and Kulob, no products were produced.
