Tajikistan and Japan Expand Economic and Trade Cooperation

DUSHANBE, 02.12.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – On November 29 in Tokyo, the Chairman of the State Committee for Investment and Management of State Property of Tajikistan Sadi Kodirzoda met with the Vice Minister of Finance of Japan Masada Kanda.
The meeting focused on expansion of cooperation in the trade and economic spheres, attraction of Japanese capital for the implementation of projects in the fields of energy, renewable energy sources, green economy, minerals and raw material processing.
Also, November 28, Kodirzoda met with the Head of the UNIDO Investment and Technology Promotion Office Ferda Gelegen.
Tajik side provided information on investment opportunities in Tajikistan, priority areas for investment in the country, as well as benefits for investors.
