DUSHANBE, 07.12.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – The volume of financing of the Green Economy Development Strategy in Tajikistan for 2023-2037 provides for 21.6 billion somoni, reports the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade.
During the event dedicated to the development of the green economy in Tajikistan, held yesterday in Dushanbe, it was noted that the key role is played by investment support for financial institutions and development partners, who were invited to make a worthy contribution to the timely and high-quality implementation of the Strategy. Its goal is to carry out institutional reforms, ensure the efficient use of natural capital, attract investment, introduce modern innovative technologies and strengthen international cooperation.
Significant measures are being taken towards the development of the green economy of the country.
The Green Economy Development Strategy in Tajikistan for 2023-2037 was ratified on September 30, 2022 as part of the implementation of the tasks outlined in the Annaula Address of the President to the Supreme Assembly on December 21, 2021.
