Tajikistan and Korea Discuss Digitalization of the National Economy Spheres

DUSHANBE, 14.01.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – The issue of developing the digital economy and digitalization of the national economy, including the digitalization of the system of strategic planning and macroeconomic forecasting, was discussed on January 12 in Dushanbe by the Minister of Economic Development and Trade Zavki Zavkizoda and a delegation of the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) in Tajikistan.
The meeting also focused on the achievements of Tajikistan in the field of digital economy, artificial intelligence and information technologies.
“The concept of forming an e-government, the concept of the digital economy and the Medium-term program for the development of the digital economy for 2021-2025 were also presented to the Korean side,” the ministry noted.
Specific proposals are also presented related to the development of the digital economy, the creation of the Center «Digitalization of the system of strategic planning and macroeconomic forecasting» for the implementation of the Medium-term program for the development of the digital economy for 2021-2025 and the introduction of a modern electronic document management system.
