Tajikistan Creates Federation of National Sports Games

DUSHANBE, 24.01.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – The Federation of National Sports Games created in Tajikistan.
The related decree was made on January 19 during the general meeting of the Federation of National Sports Games.
The purpose of its creation is the revival and development of national sports games, educating the younger generation in the spirit of respect and reverence for national history and traditions of their ancestors, strengthening a healthy lifestyle, a sense of self-awareness, political vigilance and preventing undesirable factors among them.
Abdullo Rahmonzoda, the Chairman of the Committee for Sports Affairs and Youth, was elected as the President of the Federation.
Following the meeting, the responsible persons were instructed to regularly hold the National Festival of Sports Games, as well as to include the Federation of National Sports Games into members of the World Ethnosport Confederation.
