Khatlon Region Exports More Than 23,500 Tons of Agricultural Products in 2022

DUSHANBE, 01.02.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – In 2022, Khatlon region exported 23,561 tons of agricultural products, said Akmal Ibrohimiyon, Deputy Head of the Department of Agriculture of the region at a press conference.
“Environmentally friendly and high-quality agricultural products were exported by road and rail to Afghanistan, Russia, Belarus, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Turkiye and Pakistan,” he noted.
According to him, 6,044 tons of vegetables, including 4,157 tons of onions, 5,038 tons of fruits, 10,704 tons of grapes and 1,451 tons of other agricultural products were exported.
