Ten New Promising Gold Deposits Discovered in Tajikistan

DUSHANBE, 02.02.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – Ten new promising gold deposits have been discovered in the central regions of Tajikistan and in the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region. This was announced yesterday at a press conference by the Head of the Main Department of Geology Ilhomjon Oymuhammadzoda.
“In 2022, the State Commission for Mineral Reserves of Tajikistan received 53 materials for consideration, including geological reports of common minerals — 44, ore minerals — 3, recalculation of field reserves — 5, revaluation of reserves – 1,” he mentioned.
According to him, based on reports, which passed the state examination, the reserves of such minerals as gold, lead, zinc, andesite, limestone, clay, a mixture of sand and gravel, were put on the state balance.
In 2022, the Main Department of Geology signed a subsoil use agreement with 78 companies, the signature bonus is more than 269,7 million somoni, and the commercial discovery bonus is 59,297 somoni, for a total of over 269,8 million somoni.
