DUSHANBE, 10.04.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – On April 7, the leadership of the Ministry of Agriculture met in Dushanbe with the World Bank representative.
The meeting focused on the implementation of the project «Improving the sustainability of agriculture in Tajikistan.»
The implementation of the project will make a significant contribution to the implementation of the goals of the government of of Tajikistan, including the program for reforming the agricultural sector, the concept of organizing and developing agro-industrial clusters, ensuring the country’s food security and implementing other sectoral programs.
The main goal of the project is to strengthen the foundation of the country’s sustainable agricultural sector by increasing the availability of quality seeds, climate-resistant seedlings, improving access to agro-logistic services for farmers and agricultural enterprises, and improving the management of state institutions.
