Korean Investors and Traders Express Interest in Expanding Economic Ties with entrepreneurs of the Sughd Region

DUSHANBE, 29.06.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – Investors and traders of the Republic of Korea are interested in expanding economic ties with entrepreneurs of the Sughd region.
The Chairman of the Sughd region Rajabboy Ahmadzoda met with investors and traders of the Republic of Korea, who arrived in the region to participate in the 2023 Sughd International Trade Expo.
The parties discussed cooperation in the agricultural and industrial sectors, including in the field of growing and processing corn, and expressed interest in expanding economic ties.
The 2023 Sughd International Trade Expo entitled “Trade and investment opportunities and prospects for the development of cooperation” was held at the Khujand’s Arbob Palace of Culture.
The exhibition was attended by guests from Russia, Belarus, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, China, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, South Korea, France, representatives of international financial organizations and development partners.
Dozens of industrial and agricultural enterprises presented domestic products at the exhibition.
