Dushanbe Will Host the Meeting of the Tajik-Turkmen Joint Intergovernmental Commission

DUSHANBE, 22.11.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – From November 23 through November 24, the 12th meeting of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission of Tajikistan and Turkmenistan on Trade, Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation will be held in Dushanbe.
The need to develop trade and economic ties and intensify the activities of the Intergovernmental Commission of Tajikistan and Turkmenistan was discussed during the meeting of the President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon with the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, who visited Dushanbe in September of this year to participate in the fifth Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia and meeting of the Council of Heads of Founding States of the International Fund for Saving the Aral Sea.
The parties also discussed issues of cooperation in the trade and economic sphere, including increasing the volume of trade turnover and expanding cultural and humanitarian ties.
