Amonatbank Provides Loans to 53,000 Clients in the Amount of More Than 1.8 Billion Somoni

DUSHANBE, 13.02.2024 (NIAT Khovar) – Amonatbank provided loans in the amount of more than 1.8 billion somoni to 53,000 clients in 2023.
Loan funds were provided to clients in 2023 at the expense of domestic and foreign reserves. The volume of loans issued by Amonatbank in 2023 compared to 2022 increased by 354 million somoni, or 24%.
Loans issued amount to 20.9% for industry, 19.2% for agriculture, 30.3% for consumers, more than 12% for construction and trade, 4.6% for transport and 0.3% – for maintenance.
Amonatbank also implemented initiatives on preferential loans under the names “Spring-2023”, “Car Loan”, “Successful Women” and “Education-2023”, as well as “Mortgage Loans”. Providing loans to clients is determined in the range from 10 through 24% per annum in national currency and from 4.5 through 10% per annum in foreign currency.
The loan portfolio of Amonatbank is 2.2 billion somoni, and the number of borrowers on the balance is more than 62,000 people. The volume of the loan portfolio increased by 31 percent compared to 2022.
