Tajikistan and Korea Pay Special Attention to Expanding Customs Cooperation

DUSHANBE, 06.02.2024 (NIAT Khovar) – Strengthening bilateral cooperation in the field of customs activities between Tajikistan and South Korea was discussed by the Chief of the Customs Service Khurshed Karimzoda and the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Tajikistan Kwon Dong-seok.
The meeting focused on strengthening bilateral cooperation in the field of customs activities, increasing the volume of foreign trade between the parties, the draft Agreement between the governments of Tajikistan and the Republic of Korea on cooperation and mutual assistance in the field of customs activities and technical support for the “Risk Management Subsystem” of the Unified Automated Information System of the Customs Service.
Ambassador expressed satisfaction with the mutually beneficial cooperation of the parties and noted that Tajikistan and Korea pay special attention to expanding cooperation in the customs sector.
The guests presented the technical support project “Risk Management Subsystem”, as well as presented correct and effective methods for using this subsystem.
