DUSHANBE, 24.05.2025 (NIAT Khovar) – On May 21, Bahodur Sheralizoda, Chairman of the Committee for Environmental Protection of Tajikistan, was unanimously elected President of the Fencing Federation of Tajikistan during an extraordinary general assembly in Dushanbe.
The National Olympic Committee confirmed his full support from federation members.
The International Fencing Federation (FIE), founded in 1913, governs all fencing disciplines and organizes major global events. Tajikistan has made significant strides in developing fencing, with athletes now competing in international tournaments such as the Asian Games and Junior World Championships.
