Emomali Rahmon Stresses Energy Conservation as Key to Tajikistan’s Energy Independence

DUSHANBE, 21.05.2025 (NIAT Khovar) – To achieve energy independence, the President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon emphasized the importance of energy conservation and the efficient use of electricity during the Republican Seminar-Meeting of Agricultural Producers and a subsequent meeting with activists in the Danghara district on May 17.
The Head of State highlighted that one of the most concerning issues is the significant loss of electricity, particularly non-technical losses, and its improper usage.
President Emomali Rahmon stressed the necessity of implementing strict control over electricity consumption to prevent violations of the country’s energy legislation.
