Tajikistan, Malaysia Sign Education Cooperation Memorandum

A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Ministry of Education and Science of Tajikistan and Malaysia’s International Cultural Communication Centre to expand cooperation in education and training.
According to the Ministry of Education and Science, reported that the memorandum was signed during a meeting between Minister of Education and Science Rahim Saidzoda and Nisi Bai, secretary-general of the International Association for Transnational Education and chairman of Malaysia’s International Cultural Communication Centre, along with Zhang Zhi Hao, executive director of ITEA Jobs, and Benjamin Leong, deputy executive director.
The memorandum provides a legal and organizational framework for practical cooperation in priority areas, including joint educational programs, professional development for teachers and specialists, development of professional and managerial skills, digital technologies, experience-sharing and joint projects.
The sides discussed expanding academic exchanges for faculty and students, establishing joint educational programs and centers, promoting transnational education, introducing dual-degree programs, organizing short-term training and professional development courses, holding scientific and educational events, and conducting joint research.
They also exchanged views on attracting foreign higher education institutions, implementing international scholarship programs and establishing modern educational and innovation laboratories in STEM, artificial intelligence, educational technologies and vocational education.
