Ambassador Nasreddinov presents credentials to Italian President
DUSHANBE, 15.02.2017. /NIAT “Khovar”/. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Tajikistan to Italy Ismatullo Nasredinov on Febriary 13, 2017 presented his credentials to the President of the Italian Republic, Sergio Mattarella at the Quirinal Palace (Il Palazzo del Quirinale) of Rome.
As reports the MFA information Department of Tajikistan, the Ambassador Nasreddinov on behalf of His Excellency President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon conveyed the warm greetings to the President of Italian Republic, Sergio Mattarella.
In response, the President of the Italian Republic congratulated Nasreddinov with the beginning of his diplomatic mission in Italy and expressed his gratitude to appoint of Tajik Ambassador to his country for the further expansion of cooperation between the two countries.
The two sides also discussed prospects of bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and Italy in various fields of shared interest
Concluding the meeting, the President of Italy wished to the leadership and people of Tajikistan — success and prosperity.
Formal diplomatic relations between Tajikistan and Italy was established on May 15th 1992.
