Issues to strengthen combating organized crime discussed in Dushanbe
DUSHANBE, 02.06.2017. /NIAT “Khovar”/. The issues to strengthen combating transnational organized crime were discussed at the meeting of the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Ramazon Rahimzoda with Director of the Bureau for Coordination of Combating Organized Crime and Other Dangerous Types of Crimes on the territory of the CIS member states Oleg Konovalov.
According to the press center of the ministry, during the meeting the issues of struggle against terrorism, extremism, illegal drug trafficking and other crimes were also discussed. The sides have expressed their views on various issues of mutual interest and expressed their readiness to strengthen mutually beneficial cooperation in the field of combating organized crime.
Oleg Konovalov arrived in Tajikistan to attend the Meeting of managing staff of anti-terrorist units of security bodies and special services of the CIS countries. The participants of the meeting summed up the results of the first stage of the joint anti-terrorist exercise, which was held in May on the territories of six CIS countries — Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia and Tajikistan.
