Tajikistan and Malaysia discussed trade and economic cooperation
DUSHANBE, 22.11.2018 /NIAT “Khovar”/. On November 20, the Minister of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan Nematullo Hikmatullozoda met with the newly appointed Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Malaysia to the Republic of Tajikistan (with residence in Tashkent) Hendi Assan. Minister Nematullo Hikmatullozoda congratulated the diplomat on his appointment to this responsible position and expressed hope for the further development of trade-economic relations between the two countries, the press service of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the country reports.
During the meeting, which was held in an atmosphere of mutual understanding, the parties discussed the socio-economic situation of the two countries, attracting investment, the development of industry, the transit potential of the Republic of Tajikistan, tourism, agriculture and other equally important issues.
Following the meeting, the parties expressed readiness to develop further trade-economic cooperation.
