DUSHANBE, 07.01.2019. (NIAT Khovar) – Football players, coaching and management staff of Istiqlol FC were awarded gold medals for winning the Championship of Tajikistan in 2018.

Officials from the Committee for Youth Affairs and Sports (CYAS), the Football Federation of Tajikistan (FFT), the Football League of Tajikistan, the National Olympic Committee and media representatives were present at the award ceremony.

An Olympic champion and the current Deputy Chairman of the CYAS Dilshod Nazarov and member of the Executive Committee of the FFT Fathullo Jalilov presented gold medals to the players, coaches and the management of Istiqlol FC. The honorary cup was presented to the captain of Dushanbe’s football club Fathullo Fathulloev.

Last season, Istiqlol became the seven-time champion of Tajikistan, won the National Cup for the seventh time in its history, and also won the Super Cup of the country and the FFT Cup.
