Tajik Athletes Will Compete in Winter Universiade in Krasnoyarsk
DUSHANBE, 01.03.2019. (NIAT Khovar) – Four Tajik athletes will compete in the 29th Winter Universiade, which will be held on March 2-12 in Krasnoyarsk, Russia, under the auspices of the International University Sports Federation (FISU).
Athletes Sadolati Ibodullo, Saifiddini Nizomiddin, Sohibnazar Sohibov and Barakatullo Zokirov will leave for Krasnoyarsk tonight. They will compete in skiing, big slalom and slalom, reported the National Olympic Committee of Tajikistan.
Over 3,000 athletes from 50 countries will compete for a total of 76 medals in 11 winter sports, including biathlon, downhill skiing, curling, skiing, slalom, snowboarding, racing skiing, figure skating, freestyle skiing, ice hockey, ball hockey and short track.
