Representatives of Tajik Textile Companies Visited Pakistan
DUSHANBE, 12.03.2019. (NIAT Khovar) – The delegation from Tajikistan visited Lahore and Faisalabad, Pakistan’s two major textile producing cities, and met with the leading textile manufacturers, reported the International Trade Center.
The Tajik delegation included employees of the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies of Tajikistan, representatives of thirteen textile, clothing and consulting companies, as well as representatives of universities.
“During the trip, a number of cooperation agreements were signed,” the source said.
The main goal of the business trip of the Tajik delegation was to establish commercial relations and cooperation, as well as to gain experience.
The trip, which began on March 9, will last until March 16. It is the first such trip of representatives of the textile and clothing industry of Tajikistan to Pakistan, which is among top 10 textile producers in the world.
The Tajik delegation will get acquainted with the technologies and production processes of such companies as Nishat Group, Sapphire Group, Style Textile, Shakam, Sadaqat Textiles, Imrahim Group, Masood Textile and Sitara Group.
